Mary Jusdanis, the founder of our company, is highly regarded within the field of catastrophic rehabilitation case management. By assembling a talented team of Trauma Rehabilitation Consultants to work along with her, she has further enhanced her company’s superior service and performance position. These highly skilled professionals apply their clinical nursing experience to the management of our clients' rehabilitation.

We enthusiastically participate in regular rehabilitation workshops, legal-medical seminars and industry courses. Our knowledgeable team is well versed in the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule and Ontario Insurance Act. With this advanced insight, we are able to obtain the highest care for our clients while working within the framework of funding constraints.

Mary Jusdanis specializes in complex cases of acquired brain injuries. She has built a solid reputation within the industry based on insight, integrity and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of rehabilitation over her sixteen year career.

Mary’s dynamic nature and enthusiasm along with her advanced training and experience have served her well in establishing her own privately run company, Jusdanis Neuro Rehabilitation Inc. She insists on providing service excellence to clients, treatment team members and customers, meaning she and her consultants consistently deliver on what they say they are going to do and always, in a timely and efficient manner.

You may find Ms. Jusdanis dividing her workday between management of her own catastrophic case portfolio, nurturing the direction of the company or supporting her consultants with their casework. Throughout her career, Mary has always been a willing student of higher education. An intense interest in behavior from a neuropsychological perspective and how it relates to rehabilitation of clients with acquired brain injuries led her to earn a Clinical Behavioral Science Diploma and pursue additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (McMaster University; Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences; Faculty of Health Sciences ) while working as a case manager fulltime.

Mary has also taken the time to share her expertise by guest lecturing at the Master of Science Occupational Therapy Program, (McMaster University). She is a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada and member of many community and professional associations.



Justin Moy
Occupational Therapist
OT Reg. (Ont.)

Justin is a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). He graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University in 2010. He also holds full membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). For the past 4 years, Justin has been working as an Occupational Therapist in the consultative capacity within the auto insurance sector. He has direct clinical experience completing Functional In-home Assessments, Attendant Care Needs Assessments, Discharge Planning Assessments, and Future Care Costs Analyses. Since 2010 he has gained ongoing knowledge and experience in assessing and treating non-catastrophic and catastrophic clients. He has experience providing hospital, clinic, and community-based occupational therapy assessment and treatment to adults and children with neurological, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal diagnoses including acquired brain injury. Justin has been working with a pediatric / young adult population including those with Autism and acquired brain injury since 2007. In addition, Justin has vocational experience having conducted Worksite Assessments and developed Return to Work programs. Justin is certified to provide Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) therapy. He is also a certified Coach in administering the Cogmed Working Memory Training Program.



Mario Papadopoulos
Social Worker

Mario Papadopoulos is a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and with the Ontario Association of Social Workers. He received a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Toronto. Mario has worked as a social worker in both community and hospital settings. Mario has extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including brain injuries and/or physical injuries, cognitive issues, and mental health issues including depression, anxiety, and addictions. His diverse clinical experience he has allowed him the opportunity to work with numerous age groups, from adolescents to older adults. He has been specifically trained, and has experience, in numerous therapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavourial therapy, solution-focused therapy, addiction counseling, and is proficient with individual, couples, and family counseling. As a social worker, he also has a good knowledge of community resources, and is able to work with individuals to connect them to supports and services that could aid in their ongoing recovery.



Chris Dunn

Registered Physiotherapist
Neurological and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Consultant


Chris aligned with Jusdanis Neuro Rehabilitation Consultants Inc. in 2017 to provide Physiotherapy consultation services. Chris brings valued experience in neurological and orthopaedic injury rehabilitation, which is utilized to provide comprehensive Physiotherapy care for his clients. This includes clients suffering from a variety of neurological conditions such as concussion, acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal cord injury (SCI), and clients suffering from various other traumatic orthopaedic and multi-system injuries. Chris’ expansive and unique skill-set has allowed him unique opportunities to provide Physiotherapy services for clients such as Canadian Special Olympic athletes, those who have suffered extensive traumatic injuries as result of an accident, and others.

Chris thoroughly enjoys being able to assist clients in regaining function, independence, and returning to as much of a normalized lifestyle as possible following injury. Chris believes that using a Physiotherapy treatment approach focused on corrective rehabilitative exercise and manual therapy is best in order to regain function, retrain the body, and return to activity.

Chris is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health from Bethune-Cookman University (USA) in 2009, and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2011. In recent years Chris has been a guest lecturer at McMaster University (Human Pathophysiology) and a clinical preceptor for the McMaster University Physiotherapy program. Chris has also pursued additional training and certification in traumatic brain injury, manual therapy, and acupuncture.



Sharon Masters
OTA/PTA
Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant


Sharon Masters is an Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy assistant for JN Rehabilitation Consultants. Sharon graduated from the OTA/PTA program at Mohawk College in 2002. Within her 16 years as a clinician in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she has carried out many diverse and specialized treatments for clients with a large array of diagnosis, specifically within the acquired brain injury field. Sharon has a keen interest for neurodevelopmental treatment and enjoys learning new techniques promoting recovery. She has a love for running and strives to be a genuine mom to her three children.



Rachelle Dunn
SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist Reg CALPO


Rachelle Dunn joined the Jusdanis Neuro Rehabilitation Team in 2016 as a registered Speech-Language Pathologist Consultant. She is in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario and been practicing since 2013. Along with her experience with rehabilitation of both adult and paediatric clients following traumatic brain injury, she also has experience working with clients suffering from various neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, dementia, ALS or Multiple Sclerosis. Her diverse skill set includes vast experience in swallowing disorders, cognitive-communication difficulties, articulation difficulties, and voice impairments as well as experience with language impairments and stuttering.

Rachelle has a passion for client rehabilitation and optimizing her client’s independence and overall quality of life. Because of this her treatment plans are unique to each client and she prioritizes client-centred care. Further, providing evidence-based care is her priority, and because of this, Rachelle attends frequent conferences or workshops to continue her education to improve her treatment of clients with cognitive-communication difficulties.

Rachelle received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Sciences from Western University following completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Bethune Cookman University in Florida, where she also captained her Varsity volleyball team. She is a local to Brantford, a wife and a mother to two young, active children. She has a rising interest in mental health and the benefits of mindfulness and staying active to maintain brain health.



Naomi Diane Hazlett

Registered Occupational Therapist


Ms. Hazlett is a registered occupational therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). She graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science with a dual major in Psychology and Cognitive Science in 2013, and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2017, both received from the University of Toronto. Naomi is the recipient of several awards for her academic and occupational therapy work, including the University Health Network Patient Quality of Life Award and the Fieldwork Educator Recognition Award. She holds full membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and Ontario Association of Occupational Therapists (OSOT).

For the past 4 years, Naomi has worked in community practice in multiple sectors, and brings a depth of experience to her consultation work in the auto insurance sector, including: acquired brain injury/cognitive impairment, home safety & environmental modification, mental health, pediatrics, and vision rehabilitation. She has experience in conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and reports of function as part of a multi-professional and multidisciplinary team. She is currently an adjunct lecturer at the University of Toronto and a clinical occupational therapy instructor at Centennial College in the Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant program, teaching multiple courses in foundations of professional practice. Naomi’s certifications include: Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance, Solutions-Focused Coaching, Foundations of Anxiety Management, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy Level I, and the Do-Live-Well Framework.

Naomi is a proponent of a holistic approach that considers what is important to the person and aligns the rehabilitation approach with this purpose. She works with each individual to create a treatment program that fits within their lifestyle and addresses barriers to meaningful activity, whether through skill-building, equipment and home modifications, or self-care strategies for coping with chronic conditions.
